Blowing bubbles, floating, swimming – the perfect start to safe swimming. This beginner course for children aged 4–6 prepares them perfectly for their next pool or beach holiday – with a strong focus on real water safety. --- WHAT CHILDREN LEARN In 8 × 45-minute sessions, your children learn in a playful way – with stories from Spidey, the Ice Queen & friends: - Exhaling underwater - Diving up to 60 cm - Safe floating (back position) - First swimming movements - Learning a simplified backstroke technique - Understanding pool safety rules - Behavior in emergency situations (including floating in clothing) --- COURSE DETAILS - Small groups (max. 6 children) - Once per week in the teaching pool at Südbad - Small group setting with DSV-certified swim coaches --- IMPORTANT NOTE During the first sessions (approx. 5–6 lessons), one parent joins the child in the water and actively participates. This helps build trust and accelerates the learning process. --- INCLUDED - Weekly pool safety rule (including coloring sheet) - FLOAT STAR badge - Final certificate --- *Please note: Pool admission is not included in the course fee.
